Murmansk railway workers have declared a hunger strike because of a reduction in wages

Four workers of the Kandalaksha distance of the road announced a hunger strike and wrote an application to the prosecutor's office in protest against the reduction of wages.

Since the beginning of the working day, protesters hung a banner with the inscription 'Lelekov – the legalized slaveholder', referring to the head of Kandalaksha distance Vladimir Lelekov.

In a statement to the prosecutor's office, workers complain about alleged non-payment of bonuses, fraud with hours worked in calculating the amount of wages.

We failed to receive operative comment of a management. It is unknown how long the hunger strike will last.
